This idea come out of the question of whether films can be distributed the same ways books and music are. This idea came after reading a section of the book The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell. He was mainly talking about how the Ya-Ya Sisterhood became a national bestseller through people forming loose groups especially through book clubs of their own kind of sisterhood.
Here is what I wrote on my sheet of paper today: Best sellers and Plantinum records occur, or are allowed to happen, because authors and singers go on tour. Radio time doesn't really make people want to listen to a certain band more. A friend telling them to download an MP3 or asking them to go to a concert does. What like that exists for film? Impersonal theatres, too few movie societies and festivals, and movie previews. Now I think movie previews get me to want to see the next movie, but there has to be a better way of getting people to talk about it. Which is what makes people go see a movie.
Unknown authors and musical artists can make it by going on tour to display their media and get people talking about it. Is it possible for unknown film makers to go on tour to make it or must we forever rely on production studios? With technology getting less expensive is it possible to showcase films like we do with book clubs, signings, and opening acts?
How do we create the buzz?

I think that dehydrated beer would be an excellent idea!! I mean, c'mon, you could carry a whole case of Corona in the palm of your hand! Just add water! The pills might be large, but much smaller than carrying a whole case!! And you don't even needs cans or bottles, just drop a pill in a pilsner, add water and **BAM**, you got yourself a frothy mouthful of delight!! Great for camping or those times when you want to get drunk fast!

My friend has this idea today about being a mullet hunter. Fact is, she knew a guy who did this. He would go around snapping pictures of people with mullets to add to his collection. And was ever tracking down the famed "fem mullet". lol. It all started with us talking about things to do when you are on workmen's comp for two months with nothing to do. Go figure.

Wouldn't it be cool if we lived our lives all the way till we die. Then we are brought back to life and live our lives getting younger and younger until we fade out of existence. Im not talking about living our same life backwards. Im talking about actually living a second life except getting younger instead of older. So half the people on the planet would be getting younger and half would be getting older. It would erase so many prejudices on age. People 10 years young would be REALLY wise cause they have lived almost 2 lifetimes. And they would be playing right along side actual 10 year olds on their first lap.
You would have to make the distinction between first and second timers. You could do all the things you wanted to do the first time around but couldnt for whatever reason. How great would be second time around star atheletes. Would second timers be the greatest at everything because they have the wisdom of two lifetimes and have bodies that get ever younger? It would make a great sitcom, wouldnt it?
